EPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, split-seconds chronograph with 30-minute register, 46mm, 18K gold OF original PP.Co case, gold cuvette with signature ring including marking for retailer Hennegen-Bates Company of Baltimore, white enamel DS dial, fancy gold Louis XV style hands, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, 24J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#137896 with matching serial number to cuvette. Gross weight of assembled watch 56.5 dwt (87.9 g). An excellent and very attractive example of this Patek Philippe complication.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph engagement button of crown is sometimes stiff and reluctant to engage requiring several attempts, otherwise good split-seconds chronograph and minute register functions, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, few micro-fine scratches; dial with loss to much of its "Switzerland" marking within seconds-register, otherwise nearly flawless with infinitesimal pinpoint edge nick under bezel at 1; nearly mint hands; case shows very little wear, fine scratch to cuvette from a slipped past opening that extends approximately halfway to center, two mild small dings or nicks to band near 9; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
